The Pakfoods Export Team has extensive experience in direct exports to numerous markets. We take great pride in our attention to documentation details and timing of shipments to your port of destination. This helps to complete the vital link in receiving our quality products.

Deliveries to our customers in Western Europe and to the nearest ports are done by our own means of transport. At ports, product may be loaded from our own trucks onto 'break bulk' ships. These ships hold hundreds of thousands of individual boxes of frozen product. At destination, products are unloaded pallet by pallet for local distribution. A sizable percentage of our export activities are done by container vessels, where products are loaded into 40ft reefer containers at our freezer facility and then moved to nearbyRotterdam port or Antwerp port.

From here the products will be loaded onto Ocean Line vessels. Pre-inspection takes place at our freezer facility for those destinations where it is required. The product remains sealed and untouched until it reaches its final destination. This massive export undertaking ensures that all of our product arrives at international customers destinations just as wholesome and flavourful as when it left our plants
